
Mary Ann Markowicz is the founder and president of MLO Enterprises.
Combining her 30 years of corporate and consulting experience allows her to develop and implement unique, elegant, and practical solutions to the problems professional service firms face in the areas of insights, knowledge, and service improvements.
Prior to starting MLO, Mary Ann was an executive in multiple industry verticals for companies including
Culligan International, The John O. Butler Company, Follett Software, The Chicago Tribune, ADP, and
WTTW/Channel 11. Her primarily focus was on start-ups, re-organizations, business process improvements, leadership development, client service and communications, reporting, and technology implementations.
Following these corporate positions, she joined Arthur Andersen as a global subject matter expert in risk management. In this Firmwide role, she helped Andersen’s Partners and engagement teams sell and deliver risk engagements, she was Risk Consulting’s C-level resource for clients and Partners, she created and delivered academic programs, and she created and lead three global community of interest networks focused on customer loyalty risks. Mary Ann created and delivered content to Andersen’s Risk Consulting group – primarily consisting of global internal auditors and CPAs - to utilize during engagement delivery and she coordinated the placement, measurement, and usage of this content on Andersen’s Global Best Practices knowledge portal.
Post-Andersen, Mary Ann joined
Crowe Chizek and Company, LLC as their Editor-in-Chief, creating and leading the Firm’s Thought Leadership program. Through this program, she created, managed, and delivered 500+ copyrighted pieces, showcasing the deep subject matter expertise of the firm's Partner-level thought leaders while expanding market awareness of the firm. She also created and implemented the firm's privacy, opt-in, and e-communications strategy, allowing Crowe to expand communications opportunities to clients and prospects. In addition to her role as Editor-in-Chief, Mary Ann also consulted with clients on customer care risk management and she created the firm's executive level customer feedback program.
Mary Ann founded MLO in 2005 with the vision of utilizing a virtual consulting model staffed with exceptional and proven executives who have a passion to help professional service firms maximize their current and future potential.
